Why, you- …it’s not good to tease you’re elders, you know!”), and more cavity inducing fluff, MC and Hideyoshi presumably proceed to get it on, and the screen fades to black. “I want to be a man that you can always rely on– one that doesn’t need help from anyone.” In any case, MC follows his advice, and because Hideyoshi’s a freaking lightweight, one drink later he’s totally ready to tell MC his “secrets”: I have no idea what’s up with the Mitsus and getting other people drunk, lol. When Hideyoshi is called away for several days on an errand, Mitsunari gives MC some morally dubious relationship advice: “ If you want to get him to spill his guts, there’s a simple way. The next few days MC and Hideyoshi proceed to become the living embodiment of relationship goals, as they leave cute notes to each other and sneak kisses/hugs to each other despite H’s crazy schedule. He still has more work, but finds himself unable to resist MC’s physical charms ( “You better not blame me if you’re too tired to get up tomorrow morning”). MC stays up late with dinner to welcome H back after a busy day doing warlord work. This route begins on a sugary sweet note that sets the tone for the entire damn thing. And I just adore the things Nobunaga will do for his chatelaine: making sangria for her, getting drunk just for her… In short, this event is pure semi-wholesome fanservice, and it’s freaking awesome to read! To be honest, drunk Nobunaga isn’t all that different from sober Nobunaga, but regardless, it’s super cute ( “Take that back. Undeveloped land, foreign goods, meaningful battles…But you’ve taught me there are new things hidden inside of me as well.” “I’ve been seeking new things my whole life. <3 Turns out that Nobunaga is a cuddly drunk (he tries napping on her lap), and aside from being just as horny as usual (yes!!), also says the darnedest things. N catches MC telling Hideyoshi how she’d love to have Nobunaga open up to her while drunk, so that night, he drinks the sangria extra fast to fulfill her wishes. Which is convenient, because snake-lord Mitsuhide has convinced MC that getting N drunk would be a hilarious wonderful idea.

In this event, after an offhand comment that MC makes regarding sangria, Nobunaga, amazing adorkable warlord that he is, has “Portugese sake” (i.e. I absolutely love his relationship with MC. Reading anything involving IkeSen Nobunaga is always such a treat. The theme/premise of this event was absolutely bizarre (and a bit discomfiting at times), but overall, I enjoyed it!
